Terms and Conditions for TalentJab Career Services

1. Introduction

Welcome and thank you for considering TalentJab career services!

Please take a few moments to read the Terms and Conditions listed below. When you check the “I agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy” box during the ordering process, you are confirming that you are fully in agreement with the practices and policies outlined here. Failure to thoroughly read the Terms of Service does not constitute waiver of the Terms or its application.

2. Service Description

TalentJab ((“us”, “we”, or “our”) offers career coaching and resume writing services including, but not limited to, resume writing services, cover letter writing services, LinkedIn Optimizations, job search strategy, professional networking, career coaching, interview coaching, employer branding, and outplacement services.

We make every effort to describe and display our Services accurately. However, please be aware that while we make diligent efforts to explain our Services clearly, the Site may not be entirely accurate, error-free, or up to date.

TalentJab dedicates time and effort to deliver high-quality projects that meet your expectations. We recommend reviewing the specific details for each service you purchase, including the standard turnaround times. You can find this information on the booking page of your selected service.

TalentJab reserves the right to add new services, modify or discontinue existing services, and notify or not notify service users of any changes. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order with an incorrect price listing.

3. Payment and Fees

3.1 Full Payment

Full payment is required upfront to begin work and complete career services. You will be directed to a third-party processor to make the booking and payment, which may subject you to their terms and conditions governing the use of that third party’s service and that third party’s personal information collection practices. Please review such terms and conditions and privacy policy before using the services.

3.2. Resume Writing and Career Coaching Services

All sales are final and non-refundable. Once booking is complete and payments are received, we immediately begin working on your professional documents.

An email will be sent a day after receipt of payment by the end of business day PST to commence the project. The email includes a request for a copy of your resume and any other relevant supporting documents needed to complete the project.

A questionnaire or intake form specific to your experience and goals will be created and delivered within 5 business days following the scheduled discovery/phone session.

The comprehensive session will focus on your career objectives, career strategy, and branding.

TalentJab customizes documents and services for each Client, based on their unique career goals, experiences, challenges, and specific target jobs. It is crucial to provide on-time information, share and communicate comprehensive written and verbal information at the onset of the project, and constructive feedback that will positively impact the quality of the finished project.

As in any writing service projects, there will be drafts and revisions. You will provide detailed feedback, questions, and revisions for the first draft. The revised draft will be sent for final review and minor edits only, which you should send in writing within 10 business days or as agreed with TalentJab. Any major revisions requested after the revised draft has been presented will be considered an expanded scope of the project charged at $250/hr.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that may impact TalentJab’s staff or operations, such as illness, injury, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies, we retain the right to make adjustments to the project timeline.

  • We will notify you within 3 business days of any such occurrence and collaborate with you to identify the most suitable solution for ensuring timely project completion.

  • We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these situations, and we remain dedicated to delivering work of the highest quality.

3.3 Coaching Services

Fees are 100% non-refundable after booking. You may cancel a scheduled coaching session up to 24 hours before the session starts. Within 24 hours of the scheduled session, no refund is provided, but you may reschedule the session to a later date by giving us due notice. If that rescheduled session is canceled, a refund will not be provided.

3.4 Hourly Items

Any item/service purchased on an hourly basis is billed upfront and is 100% non-refundable.

4. Service Expiration

All services must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase.

  • For resume writing services, failure to schedule and complete your consultation with TalentJab within 90 days of purchase will render your purchased services void, and no refunds will be issued.

  • Failure to contact TalentJab within 90 days of ordering the service will result in your order being marked as “completed,” and no refund will be issued.

  • For coaching services, you have 90 days from the date of registration to complete your coaching sessions.

5. Delivery and Acceptance

  • You are responsible for reviewing the documents that TalentJab sends for approval within 5 days of receiving them.

  • You can request changes, give feedback, or accept the documents as they are within the 5- business day period.

  • If you do not respond within 5 business days, we will assume that the documents are satisfactory and finalize them.

6. Cancellation and Refunds Policy

  • Payments for consultation, information-gathering, and preparation of career documents are non-refundable, as we provide custom services for each client. These services include client consultation and coaching, research, writing and editorial services, design and layout, editing and proofreading, and finalization.

  • Any payments made are non-refundable, as they cover the development of a customized Questionnaire/Intake Form, interview questions, or other services.

  • Once the client has paid for services and received the customized Questionnaire/Intake Form, no refunds are available. An administrative fee of 35% will be deducted from the total fee paid if a refund is requested before delivery of the Questionnaire/Intake Form.

  • TalentJab is under no legal obligation to refund the purchase price of any service under any circumstance.
